99 Tacoma Gas Gauge
I just bought a 99 Tacoma 2wd with 800 miles on it, verified with carfax.
It has obviously been sitting around for a long time, it had less than a quarter tank when I got it, I filled it and the gas gauge slowly rose toa little over one quarter tank and stopped, the next day it's almost to a half tank but won't move any more. It may have been sitting with a low tank for years for all I know. I'm wondering, sending unit or gauge, or something else. Any ideas out there?? Happy New Year!!!! |

Re: 99 Tacoma Gas Gauge
I would bet that the sending unit is sticking. I would put up with it for a while and see if it loosens up.
