Re: Toyota hi-Lux "technical"

Well done. Love the weathering, but I find the panellines a bit to heavy.
Did you have any problems during the built?

No WIP

Thanks, the kit is great, goes together like a normal car model kit.

As for panel lines, the kit comes with rather wide lines, As for the black that's just my preference
The real trucks have dark panel lines.

Re: Toyota hi-Lux "technical"

very nice!

a bit tangent - how does meng's build quality and detailing compare to tamiya/aoshima? saw a meng 1/35 pajero in a local hobby shop and was intrigued by it. held off on buying it though as i'm not too familiar with meng.

The quality is very nice. Very clean and crisp parts. There black plastic sprues are somewhat"soft" not like normal plastic but was no issue

I would recommend thier kits to anyone. Always do a google search for a review if you're in doubt

I don't think you can compare the 1/35 to tamiya car models but I would say it's equal or higher than there military stuff and close to Dragon quality, I'm not impressed with there figures though lol go with resin for those
