On my 2000 Town Car my wife hit something with the front right lower bumper cover, it did not touch anything behind it but left a large "dent" in the lower part
,I want to remove the cover and try to pop it back out, if not, replace it is there any hidden bolts or any special tricks to removing it ?

Re: Front bumper cover
Done a 2000 Grand Marquis. Should be more or less the same.
1. Remove the center lower air deflector. 2. Remove the LH air deflector. 3. Remove the RH air deflector. 4. Remove the bolts. 5. Remove the two screws from each side. 6. Remove the screw from each wheel well. 7. Remove the three nuts from each side of the front bumper cover 8. Remove the front bumper cover. 9. Remove the three pushpins from each side. 10. Remove the bolts and remove the front bumper. 11. Remove the bolt. Not hard. Hope this helps. |
