Can somebody tell me what the little speaker thingy above the drivers head is in a 2000 Suburban. It is making noise and driving me nuts. It makes noise like a fan or somthing, but all the fans are off, it is a dull humming. And is there a way to fix it.

Do you have climate control? If so, from what I understand that is the thermometer. It has a little fan that blows air to get an acurate temp reading.
