Solved my AWD problem...for now.

After browsing through here, I noticed people saying remove the ATC fuse from under the hood. I did that, took it for a test drive and nothing changed. I could still tell the Bravada was engaged in AWD when it shouldn't be. Falling asleep last night, I was running ideas through my head, and thought to myself..."Why don't I try to remove the fuse and disengage the AWD somehow." So today, I took the vehicle to a place that had very loose sand off road. I took the ATC fuse out, restarted the engine, and floored it. The rear tires are the only tires that spun. Not knowing if it was working or not, I drove home, got my dad, and took it out again, sure enough...problem solved.
So, until I can affort to fix it completely, I will just drive it without the fuse, and if it doesn't get fixed before winter, all I have to do is replace the fuse and I am back in business.

Re: Solved my AWD problem...for now.

I was wondering if dismaying the front wheel drive is possible so that I can only have the back working...
