Tamiya Volvo 850 Estate BTCC

Starting on this one!

Started out with the masking. Took about 4 hours to mask and 4 minutes to paint. Light blue is paint, dark blue is decal.

As you can see, I have some other things done as well.
Dash, seat, most of the interior, etc...

Also started some weathering on the chassis...

The wheels in the kit aren't what you generally see on the car in period photos. I may swap these out with the wheels in the 850 Saloon kit. Not sure...
More wiring tonight, then more masking for the weather stripping, etc.... then decals!

Great start. What did you use for your seatbelt material-looks really good.

Good work for the moment, and don't worry about wheels.
At least, rims are the same of the car stated in Goteborg Volvo Museum

Are you using Tamiya decals, or they comes for Shunko or any other manufacturer?

Using Shunko. They are great so far, but I've only used the dark blue patches for the exterior and a couple select interior decals.

It's patch material for pants. I found it at hobby lobby 5/7 years ago. I've been using the same package forever. Comes with blue, white, red and black.

Deadline looming. I never get anything done on the weekend, so I gotta get done during the week, what I can.
I think I'm done with the interior. Now on to decals and finish her up!
