Vibration
When going about 50mph in 2006 Lincoln Navigator, and I put on brakes I get a vibration, much like the vibration of a U Joint in the old cars.
Any suggestions or ideas? |

Re: Vibration
Aleekat, I think you are correct, I will check when I get home, it is my wife's car. I had another post about replacing the cigarette lighter in the ashtray on the same vehicle. I have not received any thing yet on that post. Do you have a way to remove the lighter?

Re: Vibration
If the vibration is in the steering wheel or pulsing brake pedal, suspect fronts. If in your butt or feet, suspect rear.
Move lighter sockets don't go bad, it's the lighter itself. Try another lighter, check fuse. Measuring for warpage, need a dial indicator to check runout. Most modern cars rotors can't be turned. They replace the rotor.
