Hi, I changed the engine oil of my car like three weeks ago. Before that I also did a full inspection of the car and replaced the rack according to the service center. But yesterday I found out that the bellow bouts of the rack are torn. The service center is going to replace it but they are now saying that the oil pan is leaking, it needs to be replaced. Is it possible that they did something wrong during the oil change too?
My Car: 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5S Thanks is advance. |

Re: Need info about oil pan leaking
Without having viewed it, I don't think so. More likely you have needed repairs piling up due to age and mileage on a car approaching ten years old. Not exactly sure if you are describing steering rack boots, CV axle boots or something else. I don't think they caused an oil pan leak though.
