Funimi Porsche 911 GT3 RSR

Greetings from Caprica!
Here are a few pics of my latest. I have been on a Porsche mood lately, so I bring you the Fujimi kit. I didn't want it to be a race car, so here is my attempt to make a street/track version. I was double building so it's not perfect, but I like it
Tamiya's kit made itself useful by providing me its interior. I opened up some areas to add the PE mesh, added studio27 and SMS CF decals. I used a wash to break up the interior color and added a rollbar that's hard to see of course. If not for the beefy tires that won't allow me to remove the body, I would take pics of the interior. I apologize for the Iphone pics. My camera is travelling through Mexico without me! Anyway, here it is...

The sun was very bright

The sun finally hid!

And what I like to call....."The Model Selfie"... 'cuz it ain't shiny until you see yourself in it!

Did someone say dual build? I wonder what these are for?

'Til next time!!!

Looks brilliant. The lack of rear wing gives it real purpose, and a slight sense of menace - putting that through high speed corners with no rear downforce would be interesting!

Glad you liked it. I struggled with the spoiler. I tried, but it looked out of place and way too large.

Thanks ashman. I saw it on an RC car. I was gonna do black instead of blue. I'm glad I didn't. The other buils is...blue. All I can say is that it's wide and blue with blue wheels

Glad you think so. Wheels are fujimi BBS off the F430 Challenge with lip/dish from some Aoshima 19" wheels.
