tried to change horns on 03 malibu

Yea this task isnt easy that im bringing it to mechanic to do. Shop manual says to remove headlight assembly. Doing this i had to remove both lights and they are mounted on a bracket the length of the car. Also taking apart the center grill. I had my dad try to get the horns from the front wheel well by removing the inner well cover to show horns but couldnt find or reach bracket to bolt. So i put the entire front back together and said forget it. I will just bring it in and pay the labor. Cant they make things easy.
