Tamiya Toyota Hiace Quick Delivery
This is probably my all-time favorite kit. I've imagined it as a delivery vehicle for shop named on the side. It has been used hard and has repeatedly been the target of graffiti taggers. I can't really get a good shot of the load area but it holds a scratchbuilt box that looks pretty cool. Lots of weathering involved.

Thanks, Alex. It was a very fun project. I have several more of this kit and can look forward to those builds.

Re: Tamiya Toyota Hiace Quick Delivery
The weathering looks great! Looks like a fun kit, I finally got one when it was reissued this past year.
Anyone else see the irony in having a Toyota cube van as an auto parts delivery van in Detroit?

I was pleased and surprised to see Tamiya reissue this kit. I have several already but would like to add some of the new issue if only to get some of those boxes that are included as cargo. |

Re: Tamiya Toyota Hiace Quick Delivery
Thanks. Working out the methods for the graffiti was the funnest part of the whole project. I'm glad everything worked the way I wanted it to the first time around. I didn't have to redo anything. I'll definitely be trying my hand (and airbrush) at this again.
