Re: My top 10 favorites Porsche

Amazing gallery I would say, and the Porshe 911 2003 is well modified with carbon fibre hood to improve aerodynamics.

Re: My top 10 favorites Porsche

I'm amazed the 996 GT3 is not on it - it was top ten out of 100 in EVO magazine.

Re: My worst car ever; Porsche

I ordered a new Porsche 912 in 1966. It was red with the 5 speed transmission.

That car came with a 4 cyl. rear 1600 cc air cooled engine. Like a VW but not even as reliable.

The bearing for the stick shift wore out soon after getting the car. It was stuck in gear in the driveway. I waited weeks for porsche to get me a new one but it did not come. My late dad made a new bearing and welded it to the old bracket.

Then the engine failed. It took months for them to replace it. By then I bought a Chevy Impala which was a far superior car.

The porsche had a terrible heater, the gas heater ordered with it was noisy and smelled.

There is more but the stupid piece of crap is not worth any more of my time.
