help. I am a 25 year female who has no clue when it comes to what my car needs. I have a 2002 Honda Civic LX with 15K miles. I took it to the dealer today for its oil change and because evertime i hit the brakes they squeal really loud. Everyone kept telling me they just needed to be cleaned. But the dealer says that my front brakes are 1.9MM and that they need to be replaced and the rotors need to be resurfaced for $155. Is what he says resonable to say i do need new brakes and is $155 too much? Your help is very very much appreciated.

Unless you really fast and aggressively, sounds like a lot of work for a car of that mileage. I would recommend getting another opinion from one of our local installers. You can find them by going to the below link and entering your zip code.
