Code p1626 99 astro crank but no start. FIXED !
she has this only code . the engine cranks, starts and dies 2 sec later. the pump is fine. pressure is fine. its some bcm passlock issue I think...help

still need help from a higher power on this one. I have been trying to relearn the passlock for the ignition key but the security dash light never goes off after leaving it on for 10-30 mins? I have no idea how to test the TDM box or go any deeper into the system . If unplug the TDM from under the radio the security light goes off. im lost

Well I fixed the van today. I searched online for answers and found answers for the theft deterrent module that runs the passkey-I system for my van. The key tumbler sends a code to the tdm and then the tdm sends a ok signal to the pcm to turn on the fuel injection system and its starts the van If everything is ok , well mine didn't start. I went to the junkyard and got a used module ($10) and plugged it in, then I turned the key and noticed the security light started to blink right away, after 10 mins it went off and I knew I had found the problem. I did the bypass for the key with a 2.2k ohm resister and relearned the new code 3 times and the van started. dam that was not fun.....
