GM will always suck, just like their Vette (personal opinion - can't be swayed), but they own FHI who own Subaru (so they don't suck). As long as GM don't pass their crap of any sort onto FHI, I'll be a happy man

GM and Fuji Heavy Industries have an alliance. FHI also has an alliance with Suzuki and had one with Nissan. GM doesn't own FHI.

Our lumina had just over 100,000 miles on it and it was a 94, damn transmission slipped almost everytime you would stop.
the Azcrap will end production in 04 though.

it's about time they apologized. as the son of a former GM employee of 25 years, i would know. my dad worked at the plant that made most of the parts for the Corvette and Camaro engines. while working for GM, he had some sort of stupid "brand loyalty", and would only buy GM cars. in 2001, we bought our first new NON-GM car that we've ever owned since i was born, a Honda Accord. in my life before that car, we owned 4 GM cars, and still do own a Pontiac mini-van that should be leaving us this August. 220,000km on a '98 and she's still going pretty well...but it's still a piece of crap.
oh yeah, and then there's the Pontiac that i drive. i got it for free, so it's not like i could choose. it should be gone within the next 3 weeks though. it's a 1991 and i'm about to turn over 350,000km.

If GMwere really sorry then we would see the death of the Azcrap/Rendezvous, Cadillac (Let's just say everything but the CTS there), Buick (At least replaced with something better), Opel Omega, It's friend the Holden Commodore V6 (Not a bad car- just needs a less-crappy V6 engine) and the list goes on..................
 damn phoneys Pontiac, Saab, the other Holdens and Subaru are cool with me though
