Lotus Europa Special 4x4 | Subaru powered

Hello guys,

many many moons ago I started building something rather.... weird. A friend bought a Tamiya Lotus Europa kit,
but only needed the engine. Honestly, I never liked the look of the Europa, but hey... a gift is a gift. I decided to take this
weird vehicle and enhance the weirdness by lifting it, giving it an exocage and a Subaru Impreza powertrain - turned around by 180 degrees.

Sometimes all it needs is three years to add a couple of door handles and rearview mirrors. D'oh!



















Some of you might have seen it already in Jabbeke or Frankfurt.

I enjoyed building it a lot - the next vehicle with this style is already in the works...

I recall following the wip. So glad you finished it off. Reminds me of a high-ridin' NA MX-5 I have been thinking of replicating. I dig it.
