How to keep the new BLACK car looking new

New RSX S owner here, just want to share some experiences on wash/wax - since it's black. I'm ordering all the best stuff that I've heard around here: Platinum, Poorboy's, 3M, etc. But I just wanted to let you guys know that you can get EVERYTHING at www.premiumautocare.com It's like the ONLY place on the internet that has all the hard-to-find, not in stores products. Otherwise, I'd have to go to 10 different websites to get what I want.

Plus, since I recently was talking to a rep there - I got everyone who's a member (not just an admin, not just a frequent poster, but anyone who's a member) here a 5% discount on their orders!!!

Just type in "automotiveforumsdiscount" (w/o the quotes) as the coupon code. Sorry to sound like a commercial here, but it's really a great store (w/ great prices) that's the only place I've found that carries everything.

Plus, lemee know what you think about this combo to clean/polish my RSX:

1) any wash/conditioner
2) ClayMagic
3) Meg's Diamond Cut Compound OR Platium Cleaner OR 3M SMR
4) Meg's #7 OR Platium Polish
5) Poorboy EX OR Meg's #26

You should not use compound on a clear coat, ecspecially black. If you are able to use a high-speed buffer or random-orbit buffer, Midnight Express is a great 1-step product for black.

Always us CLEAN microfibers to wipe excess product of the paint & use a back & forth motion instead of circular to prevent fine swirl marks.

1. wash with car shampoo
2. clay bar
3. polish or glaze
4. wax or sealant

Expensive Shit!!!!!!!!!

Not only expensive its a pain in the ass to work with. Detailers that use that stuff on Concours circuit level cars usually charged $1000 & up for a "Show Detail"
