I'm having trouble starting my 1992 Honda Accord EX. When you put the key in the ignition and turn it to the II position, only the radio comes on but not any of the dash lights that usually come on. Then when you turn it to the III position to start it, it turns on, but as soon as you let it go it turns off again. I found that if you hold the key between the II and III position it'll stay on but the radio turns off. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? What's the problem? OH yeah, about a day before this happened i was driving and my car turned off completely. I had to take out the key for a lil bit and then it started.

ditto either there's a lose wire in your ignition, or you need a new ignition switch, a nice $$ spender I believe..
