Windshield-Roof Leak 1991 Honda Accord LX

Hi,
I have a question on a leak I have had from my roof. Its from a single point directly above the steering where the windshield meets the roof. I have looked at the black liner outside and it seems to be fine but I'm not sure if it has gaps between it and the windshield. I've used an entire tube of silicone from Autozone with not much success. I've used heavy duty packing tape on the outside with a lot of success. Unfortunately the tape doesn't last long in direct sunlight. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think the windshield will have to be removed and resealed. While it is out, inspect for rust anywhere around the windshield frame and repair if necessary.
Silicone repairs to the windshield area are hit or miss IMHO and tape just looks like crap and does not hold up as you have found.
Good luck..

Thanks. I'll just go the tape route then given that it does perform. The car's paint is peeled at varying rates of decay and so it can't look any more like crap LOL. Plus, I can't remove the windshield myself and don't plan to invest in having someone else do the job. Appreciate your advice.

In that case, I would try some Gorilla Tape, regular duct tape and packing tape do not hold up well on a cars exterior. I found this out the hard way..
