Help Me Catch A Thief

I had 4K+ worth of tools (my livelihood) stolen from my pickup truck last Saturday-early morning July 20th. These are photos from a neighboring business' surveillance camera. I am not a car expert I am hoping that someone here can take a look at these pictures and tell me the make, model and maybe even the year.

I appreciate any info you can give me. If there is anything that stands out to you I would very much appreciate it.

Re: Help Me Catch A Thief

Primarily the wheels made the early 1990's Honda Accord and early 2000's Saturn S-series (like S200) jump to mind.

1990 Accord:

2001 Saturn S200

Of course there's nothing saying the car in the surveillance photos has stock wheels.

Also, I'm leaning more toward the Accord due to the taillight shape and the lack of the fender badge behind the front wheel.

Good luck!

Have you thought about enhancing the source video/images? You may be able to read the plate if you can use infra-red or negative image filters.

Just go to the cops and let them do their job.

The cops should be able to figure out what type of vehicle this is, and by enhancing the video, you may even be able to faintly make out the license plate numbers

Don't assume cops can always help you. They can have too much on their plate.
It's good you posted it here but you should post in in you tube also where there is a bigger audience.

Re: Help Me Catch A Thief

The picture is too blurry. Try using a software to enhance the picture like
https://www.blurity.com/ or maybe some free downloadable softwares at download.com.

Re: Help Me Catch A Thief

I think the pictures plainly show it to be the Accord mentioned earlier . I have a 2001 Saturn L series sedan as pictured and the small rear side window is solidly mounted to the body . The small rear window on the Accord is actually part of the rear door as it appears to be in the photo . I believe if you look at that area in the photos , you'll see what I mean . Just my thoughts ! Good luck !
