Car Recommendations
I'm looking to buy a used car that costs less than $10,000.
I am looking for an older car that looks somewhat like these: http://media-cache-ec2.pinterest.com...05c243d16a.jpg http://loughmillermotors.com/64mustang0.jpg http://emsolo.files.wordpress.com/20...ld-chevy-2.jpg http://www.finecars.cc/typo3temp/GB/539c6ec929.jpg http://photosofcar.com/wp-content/up...2000-CS-01.jpg I don't have a specific brand or model in mind, just something that looks like the cars above, so how would I find used cars like those on Craigslist, or through other means? Any suggestions? And I'd like to apologize if my post seems naive or such, I know virtually nothing about cars and I thought I'd start here. Thanks in advance |

Re: Car Recommendations
Best thing i'd say is... As you don't have any idea what you're looking for, you just have a budget pretty much. You should really narrow down your search a bit by deciding what's most important to you...
So looking at your pictures, it's an older car, kind of sporty & muscle like... But ask yourself what you need from the car, what you intend to do with it, then narrow your search down as much as you can & find what works for you best. It's good to have a budget, but you still need to satisfy yourself with what you buy, just getting something random won't be of much use, it's best to find what you need from it, then start to ''fall in love'' with what you're looking for, so you'll get a make & model you'll prefer, or several should i say... You can easily work that into a list, ideas & gather what matters most to you. Then you'll look forward to your purchase more & find something that'll hit the sweet spot which you'll be making! That's what i'd do anyway! |

Re: Car Recommendations
Swift ZDI is a true VFM product from maruti. Figo is also good but not on long run. If you want to keep the car for more than 5 years Swift is best. Other car in this segmnt have higher maintenance cost and also some like Figo have dated design. So I would say book Swift ZDI without any second thought.

Re: Car Recommendations
Hi everyone!
I am taking a 3 month road trip around the USA in July and want to purchase a minvan that will give me as little trouble as possible. The below cars are the ones I was looking at. The max I will pay is $2,000. - Chrysler Town and Country (2000-2003) - Ford Windstar - Dodge Grand Caravan Which one of these vehicles will be best for a road trip of about 10,000 miles? I do not want to be doing any repairs along the way. I understand that for 2,000 I won't get anything too nice but looking at craigslist and autotrader there are many cars in this price range/year. Thank you to anyone that will help!!
