98 LXI tweeters

Has anyone ever replaced the tweeters in the very front dash area of a 98 sebring? Just bought my wife one, and one of the tweeters are blown.
Thanks for the help.

well thanks for all the help guys!!!
I managed to find out what I needed online and changed them. You guys are great!!!
I know you probably have never changed the tweeters in your sebring so I'm not upset with you helpful little guys. The blown speakers actually sound pretty nice (to you)!!!

I found that I can remove the dash tweeters by lifting them straight out. I bent a paperclip straight and put a short L shaped bend in the end. I stuck the L into the grill of the speaker and pulled straight up, lifting the speaker out.

I'd like to hear what you did to replace the speaker. Mine are blown as well and I want to fix it. I tried just unplugging them but get horrible treble out of the system - I think there is some kind of crossover filtering out the highs from the door and rear deck speakers so you don't hear them at all if the tweeters are unplugged. Did you have to do a lot of custom fabrication to make the new speakers fit? What speakers did you use? Does it look stock?

The problem is that the speaker, the plastic mounting system, and the grill are all one piece so you can't just reuse the grill on an aftermarket speaker. I was considering cutting the magnet of the OEM tweeter away from the metal basket with a dremel and cutting out the OEM speaker cone so I had the grill, mounting system, and the OEM speaker basket left. Then I was going to use the basket as a basis for building a mount for a 1" or so component tweeter.
