01 Malibu shakes at 15 mph
Driving to work today I felt a weird side to side shake at 15 mph. At higheR speeds it sounds like a wheel out of balance. When I got home I checked out the wheels and tires and noticed that the once strut on the left rear seams to make a pulse feeling when the car is pushed on. Has anyone had anything like this?

What you describe is usually a belt shift in one of the tires, look closely at the treads when rotating the tires slowly.

Thanks maxwedge
I jacked up the rear and slowly spun. Sure enough one section had a cupped middle and buldged edge. Off to find a new tire. Car drove nice and smooth on the spare. |

I had a car once when you went a few miles an hour the front would weave side to side, it was worn radial tires.

I recommend replacing them in "pairs".......
