Very nice model, but I'm rather confused. Whenever I see GT1 or GT2 on a porsche, I think of the more modern versions. Such as the one here: http://www2.us.porsche.com/english/u...t2/default.htm

Are these two cars the same thing, just different generations, or is there something else?

I have that kit laying next to my computer desk, not finished Very nice kit you built. Ironically, mine is the same color.. (I've had this kit for almost 2 years so i had this color first ) I havent built it because I've seem to start to dislike top dollar exotics (mostly because they are overated) but one day, it will be built.. hopefully..

If anything is over rated it's American Muscle cars and even their horsepower ratings were inflated by using peak horsepower instead of Brake Horse Power like all modern cars. For as fast as the Corvettes were on a racetrack along came Porsche's 911 with less than half the motor and ran circles around it and still do in showroom stock type racing.
