Smile My first 2 models

Only started on this wondeful hobby last November, still learning the basics and as you can tell by the pictures I haven't got a photo booth

I have also added the missing things such as mirrors and door handles since taking the pictures.

Next model will be the XJ220 and going to have a go at detailing the engine.

Mercedes CLK-GTR

Lexus SC430 Open Interface

I have built some other models since then, including the R390, Merc SLR 722 edition, Enzo and a couple of Mustangs, but these are the ones that I am most pleased with so far.

Thanks for looking

Re: My first 2 models

Nice builds. Very good paint and decal work.

Bit of modelling tip: sand off the mould separation lines when preparing the bodyshell. They unfortunately stand out a mile on the CLK.

Keep up the good work, look forward to seeing the XJ220.

I know what you mean, I was wondering if they were meant to be there, and looking at the box it looked as though they were, but I have since learnt that they are not

Still, I have learnt from this, and also every other kit that I've done, which is never a bad thing!
