Question 2003 slverado front license plate mount

I was just wondering if there is a front license plate mounting kit/bracket made for the 2003 chevrolet silverado. I do have license plate mounting holes in the bumber but with a plate attaches it looks like crap. If there are any suggestions it would help alot.

I have a 2003 2500 HD GMC. I also wanted to put a plate on the front. The truck came with a little bracket to use, but when I put it on it looked, as you put it, "like crap". I would like to find a holder like I had on my 1993 Chevy Truck. Good Luck

Contact your dealer if you want it..

On a small population of early 2003 production Sierras and Silverados built at Ft. Wayne and Pontiac, an issue exists where front license plate brackets may have been omitted. In the 2003 C/K product line, only pickups are effected.

To correct this issue, install part number 15098459, described in the parts catalog as: "Attachment Package- Front License Plate". Parts availability will likely be sufficient by the week of July 15, 2002. Please note that this component is unique to our new 2003 model year design. As a result, prior design parts can not be retrofitted to our 2003 front bumper bar designs. Vehicle Order Management System, also known as VOMS, is being updated to accommodate this part, which is Regular Production Option VK3, and will be available on all Sierra and Silverado models built beginning the month of July, 2002.

2003 Silverado Frount License Plante Mount

Funny - I have a new Silverado SS, it comes with a nice color cordinated plate holder however it mounts to the pumper by drilling holes and using screws to secure it. I dont want to put holes in the bumper to mount the license plate holder that comes with the SS, so I have a few options - 1 I can mount it with long small bults through the lower air vent or 2 - I am looking for suggestions about what kind of glue I can use to adhear it to the bumper however be able to heat it and take it off later if I want. Count use 3M double back tape as well maby. So, any suggestions out there.

just use the tape but dont bitch when you lose the plate

lol: Thanks for the that great advise however - I was thinking that some kind of special glue would be the answer and by the way - I would put a safety strap on it just in case it came loose. And, I am planning on moving to a state that has no front license plates, thats why I don't want to drill holes.
