Advice on new used car ~12k
So just like the title, I'm looking to buy a new used car for about 12k. MUST be manual tranny and fast lol, and preferably around 100k miles, not over 150k. Looks aren't that big of a deal to me, nor is practicality and mpg. I've been shopping around actually for several months now and I have a few in mind if anyone has some input on them;
2002-2005 Nissan 350Z ~10-13k 1990-1998 Nissan 300ZX Turbo ~10-15k?? 2004-2006 Mazda RX8 ~9-11k 1990-2000 Chevy Corvette ~10-12k I'd list some others I've looked at like early 2000s Camaro but honestly they so ugly to me I wouldn't buy them. The 350Z is appealing cause the 0-60 is 5.2 and it looks quite good, attractive car with good power. The 300ZX, not very attractive but that twin turbo 400hp V6 kinda makes up for it haha, this car seems to have a lot of potential. The RX8 is somewhat cool looking, also 4 seats in nice. I like rotary engine and being able to rev up to like 9 thousand rpm, though it's not nearly as powerful as the others :/ probably lowest on my list right now. And the Corvette is just awesome, most of them have a 0-60 in mid 4 second range. But then again most of them are almost 20 years old now.. So any advice/info that might sway me one way or another? Thanks! |

Re: Advice on new used car ~12k
Take a look at my list, you should be able to find a fine example under 12k.
