Offenhauser midget

Working on this nice little revell kit.

making it pretty much out of the box. but adding a few wires and minor details. I plan to make a small diorama scene with it. so will be leaving the hood off completely

some progress so far.

I used the radiator from the V8-60 kit also the front push bar because the one in this kit was broken.

I added gold foil to the radiator to simulate brass. any other metal parts were painted with alclad and I used chrome foil on the firewall.

added on the dash and wired the gauges. also added "tape" around the steering wheel for a more period look.

You sure know how to make plastic look like the real thing, excellent little project here. I love it.

I love the subject, and the work is fantastic. The bmf and Alclad look very realistic.

Re: Offenhauser midget

I painted the rear bodywork, and added a few screw heads around.
