Re: The Right Day-Time Running Light Not Working
It's probably a bad fuse, or relay/resistor to the DRL.
The owners manual might have the locations, see www.alldata.com . I think there's one Relay/resistor for the DRL, and another relay for the lights. |

Re: The Right Day-Time Running Light Not Working
Once you look at the electrical diagrams on www.alldata.com , it might make more sense.
With today' s auto, each light might be fused. |

Re: The Right Day-Time Running Light Not Working
Is there power on the blue wire at the r/f bulb socket? If not, check the wire at the DRL module, dark blue wire, connector C2 terminal C. If no power, the module is bad, if there is power, then there is an open in that circut between the DRL module and the socket. That wire runs from the DRL module, through the underhood fuse block, to the socket.

Re: The Right Day-Time Running Light Not Working
It's under the left side of the dash, I think it's left of the steering column (towards the drivers door). It slides onto a bracket and has two connnectors going to it. It's' pretty much square shaped.

Re: The Right Day-Time Running Light Not Working
Go to the dlr/sig light socket and remove the bulb (make sure it is the correct working bulb) trace the ground wire back to see if it makes a good ground to the body.
By looking at the wiring dia this might be the problem. With the left side working normal it says that the DRL control module is ok. Just what i would look at for a start. |
