Toyota Supra JZA80 (replica)

I build a replica for a friend of my. His gf asked me to build his car in 1/24 scale. I used the Castrol Tom's Supra (tamiya) as base and did a lot of customizing. I painted it with a mix of different yellow shades and clearcoated it with 2k Zero paints.

This saturday it will be picked up, so I have just a few days to enjoy this model .

I really like the result. I think I did a pretty good job to replicate it. Off course there are some things that are not really like the real car, but overall it looks pretty much the same . If you know my models, you'll notice I'm don't do such projects like this. I mean all the scratchbuilding and customizing. But I really enjoyed building this model, so in the future you can expect more of these projects....

These are the changes I made:

- whole hood and frontbumper customized
- Various intakes cleaned
- scratchbuild rearspoiler
- scratchbuild exhaustmuffler
- scratchbuild towhooks
- dashboard and midconsole from the street version Supra (Thanks Mads )
- intercooler
- Aoshima sidemirrors
- Mr. Model hoodpins
- custom made licenseplate decal (thanks Phil)

Kris.
