Porsche 956 Bellof Norisring 1984

Hello!
I'll put forward a new model from my workshop.
It is a conversion of a Tamiya kit of the Porsche 956 LH in the Porsche 956 short-tail version.
Changed was the entire front and rear bonnet.
Decals came from the Revell-Kit and the colors from Dupli and alclad.
The original vehicle was taken by Stefan Bellof Norisring 1984 pilotiert.
The car was used by the Brun-racing team in "Jägermeister" livery.

regards Ralf

Excellent conversion work, well done. A great result of an iconic paint scheme and a legendary driver.

Where di the front and rear covers come from - was it the Revell kit or was it Tamiya's 962C? Or something else?

Re: Porsche 956 Bellof Norisring 1984

Hello!
No, the base was was the*956 long-tail tamiya kit.
The 962 kits from Tamiya/Hasegawa/Revell are not to be used for a early 956 short/long tail-model.

Re: Porsche 956 Bellof Norisring 1984

Hello to all!
Thanks for your comments.
Unfortunately I have no pictures of the rebuild, but I will again in the near future to build a Porsche 956 short-tail. then I will document the construction of images.
I set up two more pictures of the Porsche 956 KH and the 962

regards Ralf
