What do you think?
Hey guys i'm 18 years old I do not own a vehicle yet. I need your opinions on my situation currently. So my moms husband owns a 1988 Honda Accord and he's gonna give it to me but the problem is the engine needs to be rebuilt. His dad is a mechanic and knows a guys who can do it for about $700. Should I invest my time and money into this car?

As long as the car been thoroughly looked at, and there aren't any other issues with it, it sounds like a reasonable deal. It's hard to find a car that cheap these days. And if there's nothing else wrong with it, it's a good first car, that you can pretty much beat into the ground without destroying it.
