McLaren Mp4/6

Hey folks!

The beginning of a long project.

I've always had a fear to start this kit, afraid to mess up
The plan is to build the 1/12 McLaren, 1/12 Ferrari 642/1 and 1/12 Williams Fw14b...

And a bit of a suprise, these are the last 3 kits i'm going to build.

The McLaren and Ferrari will get the "Perfect parts pe and brake set" treatment...

Boxart:

Contents: (engine already started)

Perfect parts brake set:

Perfect parts Pe-set: (few bits and pieces used already)

The start:

Will try to get scharper pics in the next update!
Wish me luck!
Jurgen

Thanks! Its these kits that i've always wanted to build, but was to scared off to start (remember the ultimate McLaren project etc on this forum)
Was afraid to mess up the pp kits And never achieve the level of detail, like some here on the forum...

I've sold all my modeling kits, tools etc because i want to find a new hobby.

I've always wanted to build these an now i'm just going for it.

So time for an update:

To give you guys an idea of making some parts:

Just to get to this:

Started on the rear shocks:

(Some pp parts still need to be attached)

More parts:

The engine as it stands now:

Jurgen

You are doing a great job on this, really impressive. Can't imagine why you would want to stop building with skills like you are showing.

Re: McLaren Mp4/6

Thanks guys!

On paper this looks "easy":

But getting all 6 wires in 1 shrinktube is frustrating, nearly impossible, so did it my way:
(many respect to the guys pulling this one off)

Now onto the other side
