Spark plug change - hot or cold engine?
I need to change the spark plugs on my 3.4 2002 Impala. Is there a consensus on whether the engine should be or or cold to prevent the spark plug hole threads from being damaged when removing the plugs? Also, I read in older posts that the recommended plugs and wires were the Delco 41-101 and 726UU, respectively. Is this still accurate?

Cold, use an anti seize compound + torque wrench too!
See www.alldata.com for gap + torque specs. Last edited by danielsatur; 09-01-2012 at 01:11 PM. |
