2000 Windstar Help...PLEASE
Does anyone know where to get photos and/or video of 2000 Windstar 3.8 water pump R&R?

Autozone has a repair guide, including pictures. You have to register but it is free. This job is not so difficult but time consuming. Engine has to be unbolted (engine mount)from underneath and raised a few inches (4 to 5) to remove the water pump pulley. I have used a jack under the pan ( with a wide piece of wood for not damaging it) to raise it. Before doing the job, in addition to the pump, get the steel tube that is connected to the top of the water pump and the steel tube wich connect the pump to the lower radiator hose. These 2 tubes ( not expensive) will probably be rusted and coroded and could be hazardous to be re-used.
