First Mitsubishi
Hey Guys .
Owning my first Mitsubishi ever. This is mostly because Mitsubishi came to Canada only a year ago. Well that’s Canada for you. I got myself an EVO VIII . I want to get it modified. Cash does not matter cause I do trucking during my off school season (good cash for a student) and my school tuition is paid by my parents and same for the living expenses. . I've been looking around, but I can’t find any parts for the new EVO VIII. Would anyone be able to give me websites or lists with parts that would go for the new EVO, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

fuck all that other shit.
RalliArt/Co-ord Sport are the only way to go. these are all proven and homogulated parts. that means they work, and they are reliable. for the ECU... GEMS (this one us great 'cause it is fully mapable, ie.. launch control, anti-lag etc...) the RalliArt is nice too, but you can only use select options... for example... using anti-lag, or launch control... not both at the same time. anyways, these two are choice. no no no...
evolutionm.net has things for less cost than the factory performance parts. they are acceptable, but not choice. in a car such as the evo you want ONLY class A parts. unless you don't care for you car. these parts sell on hype. RalliArt/Co-ord Sport, and MMC parts are designed and manufactured by Mitsubishi for the Mitsubishi Evos. They are designed with traveling at silly speeds down silly roads in mind. they are rock solid, and will give you gains that cheaper "after market" parts cannot offer. These are the parts that all Gr. N, Gr. A, and WRC cars use. and most open class cars as well. besides, you know they will work everytime. www.ralliart.co.jp www.co-ordsport.com A-1 rally sport in the UK can help you. they sell the above parts. they also offer good tech. support. do not listen to dynos, they are unreliable and it is very very difficult to replicate dyno figures that are given. there are too many factors involved, and they use "tricks." for example: manually feed water and oil the the engine (taking off all the belts), altering the timing, and using petrol that is not available at the petrol stop. you need to "feel" the car, not listen to the hype. right, nearly slipped my mind.
ALL parts for the Evo VII can be used on the Evo VIII... for they are the SAME car. just the fairing are a bit different. |
