Help Please !!! Clutch wont release!!!

I went to start my 90 Rallysport yesterday, It has the 5.0/5 speed, the clutch would not disengage, and its stuck in 1st gear, so I opened the hood up, and someone had opened my clutch reservior and didnt put the cap back on good enough, plus the rubber cup that goes down in the reservior is ripped and a chunk is gone out of it.

I know that the system has to be bled off, But what about that rubber cup with the seal on it? my dad said that it does not need it, but ive called every parts store around, ive called dealers, and its been discontinued. Jegs and jc whitney doesnt have it either, Hawks has the entire clutch slave cylinder. but its over $300.

My question is can I bleed the air out of the system and leave that rubber cup out of the reservior and be able to safely drive the car??

You can't get a complete master cylinder? Napa and Rockauto show overhaul kits and complete masters.

Re: Help Please !!! Clutch wont release!!!

I have already called them, and they dont have what I need. Yeah they can get the slave cylinder, but I need the reservior that holds the fluid, and the rubber cup that goes inside of it. Some dumb ass got under my hood, opened the reservior, and cut the rubber cup into pieces and didnt put the lid on it good so it now has air in it and needs bled off,

All I need to know is if the air can be bled out of the system and just leave the rubber cup out of the reservior.
