Have you noticed the price of oil lately???

I don't know about anyone on here, but I'm thinking it may be cheaper to start using synthetic oil. Maybe the price is rising with gasoline where it's a petroleum based product.

My local NAPA wants $4.19/qt. for regular 5W-30 motor oil and synthetic is going for $5.59/qt. With the extended mileage that you are supposed to get, wouldn't it be more economical to go with synthetic, or is it OK to use in these engines?

Has anyone on here switched? Do you have to flush the old stuff out? Any recommendations?

Thanks

Toni
