engine swap

i have a 92 accord lx and a 93 accord ex. The accord ex has a soc vtec motor in it. The accord lx has just the basic soc. I wanted to do a prelude complete swap. I was wondering if the ex and lx had to have the wires changed out in order for the prelude vtec to work.

The LX will need a new harness but as far as the EX goes , I'm not sure,
but as long as the motor is the same OBD version it should work.
