Mercedes Benz SSKL "Mille Miglias 1931" - Matchbox 1:32
My attempt of doing the 1931 Mille Miglias winner
  Cut on the wheight.    Starting with the engine    Dry-brush on it  A little of rust   Taking form already    Time to cut again     Engine almost done

  All polish     Exaust  The tool box and the oil can     More scrath to the engine bay   The original decals were old and broke in thousand pieces on the water. I use some decals from 1/24 rallye plates.  The exaust in place  Starting the dashboard  The "underground"

Excellent progress. The engine is a jewel. It's hard to believe the scale considering the excellent detailing you are doing.

I take out the original chrome effect and painted with Alclad. Not bad.
 To fix better the radiator cap I made an hole and fixed a little sprue.
