Cleaning MAF

Hi members,
I have windstar 2000. Can someone guide me cleaning MAF with ethan alcohol.

Also, I'd steer clear of alcohol. There's no reason to take chances with whatever quality of alcohol you have - when quality MAF cleaners are readily available. Google "MAF cleaner" for samples. Personally, I'd always been pleased with CRC products.

I've cleaned mine with electronic cleaner (no residues left). Imo the best choice.

did you figure it out? if not take the 4 screws out of maf sensor and clean screen you need to get some spray that your suppose to use at autozone it's for cleaning throttle body and it will clean the screen also.

I found a contact cleaner, but MAF was not the problem. Most probably, it was the fuel pump. "Most probably" because still I am testing.
