How do you remove the electrical connection from a fuel injector ?
I have never had a fuel injector go bad so I don't have any experience with them.
I want to know how to remove the electrical or power connection from an individual injector. I guess it should be easy enough once you've done it a few times but the only time I tried I could never get it to release. If some one would write a few lines of what all to look for and how to remove the darn clip and anything else to be alert to I would appreciate it. I want to be able to test each individual injector in case I have a drive-ability problem since I've learned here that a single bad injector has caused a no start problem on the 3300. |

Re: How do you remove the electrical connection from a fuel injector ?
After months of no response I'll answer my own question. I recommend others check out the A-Body forum for more active posting vs this dead board.
You can just squeeze in the clip and slide it a bit inward and then the plug can be pulled up and off of the injector. You also can rotate the injector a bit if needed to get a better grip on the plug. |
