Cool What are you Drinking right now

Yip, simple question.

I'm drinking a CockBurns Port.

Its just old Australian red wine with some added sugar.........

What I really want is a Highland Park Single Malt.
But I wanted it to much in the past and now there is none left......

Nice!

I had a 36 year old single malt the other day, very nice. But, very different to anything younger.
I wish I could remember what it was called. Was a very small distillery, they used simple water colour panting on the label and box.

Do you remember what region it was from? Sounds like Edradour, a highland whisky, but it could have been an Islay or Speyside malt, which would have tasted different just due to the regional differences (there are 5 scotch regions, 2 of which are not very common).

It wasn't peaty like an Islay, more of a Highland or Speyside flavour.

Sounds like you know more about them than I do

I seem to remember it had small sail boat on lake, was a very cliche'd scene.

Hopefully the bottle is still where I last tried it, I'll make sure to have a look next time I'm there.

Re: What are you Drinking right now

I was curious, as there's not many 36 year old Scotchs. I like a good Scotch, being Scottish and all.

Re: What are you Drinking right now

I'm cheap, a good customer of mine brought over 4 30 packs of 5.0 busch light... so I am working on that at the moment. In the kegerator is almost 5 gallons of miller lite though.... just in case the cans run out, which has and does happen.

Now that's a sin. Cuervo 1800 is meant to be sipped and savored like a fine scotch, not mixed with a kids drink.
