seatbelt stuck:/

'93 lumina. my passenger seatbelt is stuck all the way out. It was stuck about halfway but i managed to pull it all the way out and now it won't retract. I took the bottom piece of door trim off to expose the unit that houses the seatbelt, but I don't know what to do from here. help?

Re: seatbelt stuck:/

If yanking on the belt doesn't release it(make sure car is level), sounds like the pendulum is stuck.....either try and take the actuator apart and release the pendulum, or you buy a new one or go to bone yard....

Re: seatbelt stuck:/

They are internal to the retractor.
