1988 300zx

I just bought a 88 300zx and i have a major problem i cant figure out. The guy i bought it off of had the battery hooked up backwards and now there's no power what so ever past the starter. All the fuseable links check good so i'm kind of stuck as far as where to look next. Please somebody help

How much it cost to you ? Don't you think 88 is too old to use now?
