DIY cars (post it)

http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=848531&page=1

Well I've seen a few sites here and there making fieros into ferraris, lambos, etc.. (looking like shit replicas but hey), just saw this and woah is it cool or what

I am wondering what would you need to get started on a thing like this. What about building a chasis entirely? DIY stuff like this I don't believe is documented online. How would you work with carbon fibre, metals, etc.. Post your links to DIY cars/replica cars/etc... and guides to DIY stuff.

Go ahead

This reminds me of an idea I've had in my head for a while to build a buggy....chassis made from tubing, 4wd, powered by an EJ20
