I'm a dummy....doh!! Help

Heya's all, a little help needed?!?!?!

Got my first syline today, okay it's only a GTS25T, RWD....but it's still a skyline right!!!! Had enough of Pulsar's thought it time for a change.

Car's fine, part from a shagged intercooler so i'm only running 5psi.... will be sorting a front mount soon.

anyhows, the Hicas light is on and i cant read japanese....how the hell do i get the code from it or get it in diagnostic mode???? Is it hydraulic actuators for the RW steering or electric jobbies???

Help... PLEEEASE!!!

Ta

Start by checking the level of the powersteering fluid. 99% of the time that is low.

what do you mean an aftermarket steering wheel will eliminate the hicas? Isnt that the purpose of the Hicas Eliminator Kit? I have a Sparco wheel and no Hicas Boss and still have the hicas running.

could ya explain that to me pretty please.

Oh and btw its been a year now in the shop... i hate MotorEx!

well i just popped off the wheel and put on the adapter. Thats it. Unless it was already done before i got the car. What does the Hicas Boss look like? Or rather what would be missing using and aftermarket wheel?

because u wont have it, u need a hicas boss, one one of my cars , its got some tomi takira steering wheel , no hicas boss , the hicas light was always on , and the hicas is disconected, r32 may well be diferent , but the hicas needs to know what way the steering is pointing
