2006 GP....Both headlights were out when I started it this morning. The brights work as do the fogs. I pulled and visually inspected all fuses related to the low/high beams and all are good. I changed the drivers side bulb with a known good one (I replaced both when one went 4-months ago) and still nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I really hate to take it in. Any help would be greatly appreciatted and thanks in advance!

Re: HELP!! No Headlights
Could be a relay.

Re: HELP!! No Headlights
There is a Low Beam relay in the underhood fuse box on the passenger side strut tower. Swap it with the High beam or some other similar relay and see if it works. These relays should be available at most autoparts stores at a cheap price.
Oscar.

Re: HELP!! No Headlights
Thanks for the feedback. However, I am sorry to report that I have swapped relay's and I still have no low beams. I'm going to buy another bulb and if that fails, I'll have to break down and take it in.

Re: HELP!! No Headlights
Hey guys....I'm getting 9 volts to the low beams when the car is off, keys in my pocket. Only goes up slightly above 10 when car is running (daytime lights) or when the low are turned on manually. Is there a resistor somewhere between the fuse and the socket? Was told maybe in the BCM. Where can I find that if thats where it located? Thanks again for your help!

Re: HELP!! No Headlights
This is weird one, is the wiring OK? You could try wiggling the wires while measuring voltage to see if you have any problem, but I don't think so.
I don't think the BCM can be your problem either as it only controls the activation/deactivation fo the relay which suppyls voltage to the headlights. 9-10 volts should be enough to power the headlights, at least dimmed but they should light up. My only guess, other than bad bulbs, is you have dirty corroded contacts. I have uploaded the electrical diagram for you, I hope it helps. Oscar.

Re: HELP!! No Headlights
Thanks Oscar. There is no corosion at all and the wiring looks fine. I even checked the bulbs and their good as well. Is there a resistor other than the BCM. Where is the BCM located anyway. Thanks for the diagram, I'll look it over.

Re: HELP!! No Headlights
You're welcome!
You can see all the information you need in the diagram, the BCM is located under the left side of the dashboard just to the left of the steering column (also noted in the diagram).
