Looking for a 9-3 - Milage Question-2005/06
Hello everybody,
I'm looking for a 9-3 (2.0)in the 2005/06 range and was wondering at what point I should not buy because milage is too high. I guess the real question is when do 9-3's need serious maintence. This question assumes that the previous owner took proper care of the vehicle and it has a clean accendent-free history. The convertables and 2.8's are too expensive, my budget is around 14K. I don't know anything about Saabs so any help would be very appreciated. PS. I've always owned Hondas and in my experience they never break but I just want something different that isn't a bm-aud-eces

Re: Looking for a 9-3 - Milage Question-2005/06
Heres my opinion.... be ready to do the maintenance yourself. I love Saabs, Im on my second myself. You can feel the difference from a honda :P, all joking aside. I have lots of paperwork on these cars if you need help on fixing yours. I couldn't tell you about the history of Saabs and their regular problems, but I can tell you that the parts are pricey. I have found that if you are willing to do preventative maintenance you can order the usual parts for cheap online, I go to a couple sites that seem to have considerably better prices than local stores. I can send you the links if you like. If you want I can copy the maintenance schedule from my 2004 9-3 owners manual if that will help. Best of luck.
