01 Gas cap Light
My gas cap light came on and I was told it was a bad gas cap. I changed the cap and the light is still on and there are strong fumes when van is running. The fumes are stronger towards the fuel tank. Looking for sugestions on what to trouble shoot first.

Re: 01 Gas cap Light
The gas cap and the fumes indicate there is a MASSIVE vacuum leak at the EVAP system. Since you replaced the cap the next thing would be to inspect the hose at the filler neck and the rest of them at the fuel tank for any cracks, holes, etc.
Oscar.
